Why I Love “The Boondocks”

And the answer is: Huey Freeman. The greatest cartoon radical to ever walk the earth. And also for the season premier that aired May 2nd.

The episode is entitled: “It’s  a Black President, Huey Freeman.” If any of you have ever watched “The Boondocks,” then you know that the idea of a black president has been mentioned before. After the election, everyone was wondering which direction the show would go now — and if protagonist Huey Freeman would change his tune and celebrate.

The episode portrays the Freeman family, rapper Thugnificent, and others before and after the 2008 election. The episode is sure to stir controversy due to Huey’s non-impressed reaction to Barack Obama. Check out the episode:
